Bruce x Reader Chapter 33- Illusions (End)The ceiling is gray and lifeless and you hate it but at the moment your eyes fluttered open, you had never been more happy to see it looming over you blankly. You sighed, the moment gone, “Why the fuck is it that no matter what I do I always end up back on this stupid Helicarrier looking up at it’s stupid gray ceilings.”
There was a rustle as you lifted your head slightly, only to have your field of vision completely blocked by a mixture of red and something shiny. Thor.
“Lady (F/n) you are awake!” He boomed much louder than necessary, pulling you up into a hug.
You managed a choked laugh and another voice began scolding him, “Thor I think you should put Miss (L/n) down. She still has a number of tubes and cords attached to her that I’m sure aren’t comfortable in that position.”
You were released rather abruptly and Thor leaned over you with the saddest sad puppy eyes you’d ever seen, “I am sorry Lady (F/n). I did not me
Bruce x Reader Chapter 24- SunshineBruce woke the next morning with you snuggled against him and his arm around you, when he pulled away slightly you whimpered so he put his arm back and you snuggled in closer with a content sigh.
He watched you sleep for a moment, noting how peaceful you looked with your soft lips parted ever so slightly and your hair tousled around your face, and then tried to move again.
You stirred this time, burying your face against him after shivering slightly and mumbling, “cold.” It was then that he noticed that the entirety of the thin bedding was wrapped tightly around you and, when he replaced his hand, that your skin was unnaturally cold.
He tugged you a little closer, wondering if this was normal, and you stirred again, wrapping an arm around his waist tightly and rubbing your cheek against him slightly, mumbling, “So warm.” He chuckled softly at how adorably innocent you seemed and the soft rumble woke you, your eyes flickering open and a small yawn escaping your m
The Avengers - BrucexReader ~A Christmas Letter~Soft clacking from fingers on a keyboard are the only sounds in the small laboratory. A welcome peace permeates the air after Tony Stark's grand exit from his and Bruce's work area, leaving you to continue on a very important document without fear of being ridiculed. While you love working around Bruce and Tony, the multi-billionaire tends to get on your nerves with his teasing ways. The piece of paper with your handwriting scribbled between the lines opens you to a world of taunts by the Ironman that you'd rather not deal with anytime soon.
“What're you working on so vigorously over there?”
Then again, you forgot the quiet Doctor Banner remained in the room after Tony left. You smile at him over your own computer and shake your head.
“Nothing too important, Bruce. I promise I'll have my side of the work finished before I leave the lab today.”
Bruce sighs and returns the smile. The bespectacled scientist never fails to set your nerve endings on fire and your hea
Trust Me, I'm A Doctor (BrucexReader) Part 6When you first opened your eyes, all you saw was a blur of white. You saw lights passing above you rapidly. You wanted to speak but your lips felt glued to together. Your entire body felt heavy and you didn't have a clue about what had happened.
The second time you opened your eyes, you saw Tony looking down at you. Your eyes were barely opened but he managed to see that you were sort of awake. He smiled sadly at you and placed his hands over your eyes, "Go to sleep." He had said and sleep you did. It felt like you had slept for days until finally, your eyes fluttered open fully. This time you were able to see that you were in a hospital. It looked like to be one of the best hospitals of New York too. No doubt about it since Tony always took care of his closest friends.
You tried to sit up but the pain you felt in your chest was too much. Your legs and arms felt like jello as you tried to prop yourself up. No one was in your room to help you sadly. You would have ringed for the n

"Hey Brucie." you said as you walked by the lab.
"Hi." he said back, unenthusiastically. You walked backwards back to the door.
"Hi? That's all I get. Just a 'hi'." you mocked him jokingly.
"Why hello there (Name), how are you today?" Bruce asked, sarcastically.
"I don't appreciate the sarcasm but I'm good. How are you doctor?" you smiled.
"Good." he said, before going back to his work. Then you noticed the stereo had a cd in it and that it was paused.
"What are you listening to?" you asked, about to press the button.
"No!" he yelled but it was too late and Be Our Guest from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast began to play. You smiled creepily while Bruce hid his face in his hands.
"I didn't know you were a Disney fan Dr. Banner." you continued to smile.
"You never asked." he mumbled.
"What's your favorite song?" you asked, getting closer to the doctor.
"Why?" he asked, looking up at you curiously.
"Because I want to know." you answered
I See You In My Future (BrucexReader) One-Shot Laughter could be heard all around the small square. The concrete pavement was practically on fire from the hot rays of the sun. Yet people were still on the streets, having fun. There were tiny shops all around this particular place. When one passed by a candle shop, wonderful smells wafted out of the place. Smells like lavender and roses as well as other earthly smells. There were also some street performers that danced with strangers that they had pulled from the crowd, singers who were trying to get noticed, and some people who just wanted to make a quick buck so they set up some sort of card game. In the center of this other worldly place, there was a small fountain. The water glistened in the sun and the various coins that were in it shined as well. Children were by the fountain as well as young lovers who threw their wishes in.
"Isn't this great?" Tony asked his friend Bruce. "I told you we should have taken some time off."
"I agreed with that,"
Bruce Banner x Reader: Cookies and Jazz“Dr. Banner? Do you have a minute?” you popped your head around the door frame of his lab. He looked up from the blueprints he was scanning and a smile crossed his face.
“Of course, did you need something specific?” you walked in and perched on a stool across the table from him.
“Yes, actually, I lost a bet to Pepper so I have to do some PR stuff for her. Some of the news stations have been clamoring for profiles of all the Avengers and since we don’t exactly trust them to do their own interviews we take control of what kind of details they are privy to. So I have a few questions for you, if you’ll answer them; they’re pretty innocent don’t worry. And, again, you only answer what you want to answer. Is that alright?”
“That sounds fine, I suppose.” He looked a little nervous.
“Wonderful!” you gave a reassuring smile, “Question 1…”
After fifteen minutes of questions, Bruce had relaxed,
Teenage TaoismGiving birth is the closest I’d ever felt to dying.
Before that, my near death experiences had consisted only of my silent announcement of pregnancy—silent, being that my social media accounts were all deleted almost simultaneously and I never returned to school in the fall, saying without really saying that I had caught the malicious disease of “teenage pregnancy”. I’m sure the whisper spread in the hallways like the Bubonic Plague. That September, sitting at home on what would have been the first day of my senior year, I imagined friends I’d never talk to again saying “she was only seventeen, and so full of life!” at my absence in the cafeteria tables, as if they were attending my funeral instead of talking about me behind my back.
"Full of life," I had snorted then, folding a never ending stream of what had once been my own baby clothes. "Literally."
I walked around like a zombie for the months of my pregnancy, deciding t
